So excited to share Mia and JD’s Swellendam wedding with you! Come rain or shine not Corona virus or even snow (yes, it snowed on their wedding day!) could stop these two from tying the knot in 2020. Mia and JD planned to get married in June 2020 (have a look at their Swellendam engagement shoot here) but had to postpone due to strict lockdown regulations enforced in South Africa from March to July. When August and the mild letting up of lockdown regulations came round Mia and JD decided they were going go through with it within the next two weeks.
With nerves of steel and sheer determination, rooted in their love so solid they put together a beautiful, intimate ceremony and celebration. Naturally Mia’s home town of Swellendam was still the place they had their hearts set on to say their I do’s and Aan De Eike Guesthouse was the perfect venue for their big day. All their guests also stayed over at the beautiful guesthouse (take that lockdown curfew) so there was absolutely no stopping the celebrations.
